This hotel was beautifully designed, with a lobby that resembled an art museum. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The room was clean, included a safe, and the bathroom was well stocked. The surrounding neighborhood felt lively but safe and the hotel was close to several attractions (like the Museo Nacional de Antropología). I would recommend staying here!

As one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City could be better described as an experience than a city. Founded in 1325 by the Aztecs as Tenochtitlan, it was both destroyed and rebuilt by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nowadays, it is the capital of the United Mexican States and its most important economic and cultural center.
The city center’s cornerstone is the famous Plaza de la Constitución, commonly called Zócalo. It's surrounded by the presidential Palacio Nacional and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Avenida de la Reforma was built under the brief rule of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Austria, while the deposed president Porfirio Díaz left a characteristic fusion of French-Mexican architecture. The 1960s saw a demographic explosion that only now is starting to be completely absorbed.
From the Chapultepec Parks and the chic Polanco, to the gay area of Zona Rosa and the Bohemian and intellectual Coyoacán: let Mexico City tell you its thousand secrets and stories.
Most of the hotels are located around the Reforma area, the Insurgentes Avenue and the Zócalo. If you’re looking for 5-star hotels in Mexico City, the modern Santa Fe area has a recently redeveloped business sector.

Besides the smog and traffic, Mexico City is an urban paradise of good dining, great museums, architecture, art galleries, interesting stores, colorful street food and vendors on the sidewalks. There are many beautiful buildings, ruins, statues, and water fountains dating back centuries that are all over the city. There are beautiful courtyards and plazas with mariachi music and lively families having fun together. The dining is incredible with a variety of different types of tacos . I love the pickled vegetables used as toppings, varieties of corn and different mole sauces.

Huge city with so much to do a long week won't be enough.
Huge city with so much to do a long week won't be enough. I recommend La Condesa for a relaxed, cooler (lots of tree cover), quieter neighborhood; Polanco for a hip, slightly more affluent dining and shopping area; Coyoacan for the artsy tourism; the Historic District for the city-center bustle, museums; and of course Chapultepec park, which makes a mockery out of NYC's Central Park.
Use Uber to get around, but be aware of weekday traffic.
There are more museums than you'll have time for, but the National Museum of Anthropology is a must. If you're interested in history, learning, archeology, or anthropology, this is the place. Entry costs a measly $5 for at least a four-hour visit, from our experience.
If you want to go to Lucha Libre, go on Friday. It costs a little more, but the crowd will be better, the fighters likely better, and the atmosphere more involving. Sitting in the sections nearer the ring felt like an almost-equal mix of local regulars and American tourists. The area around Arena Mexico isn't the nicest, but with thousands of people leaving the stadium, it's not uncomfortable to walk a block to hail an Uber on a less-congested street.
Final tip: don't be cowardly with food; there are a ton of plants and mushrooms you may have never eaten and won't find anywhere else. Try them, they're worth it.

We did a CDMX highlight tour in 6 days.
We did a CDMX highlight tour in 6 days. We certainly could have stayed longer and done more but this was just the right amount of time to get a good feel of the city. Highlights were doing the balloon tour over the pyramids and doing a morning "cultural" tour in Xochimilco.
Very easy and affordable city to navigate with Uber. Sooo many good food options to choose from. Would love to visit again if the opportunity arises.

We like the people and the culture.
We like the people and the culture. The architecture of the city have life memory of the past. The security people were so friendly and supportive.
The system encorage tourism, by being frienly and making access to all the museums free and convinient.
One thing that, I was disapointed with, we bought lunch for 560 Pesos, they brought snack and natural lemon juce for us. We knew that that will be part of the bill for sure. Howeber when we asked for the bill, they charged us 1500 Pesos. I had to pay but, it was not realistic.

Mexico city in a huge city with very different neighbourhood, you have some area like Zocalo very noise and crowd, but at the same time full of history from pre-Hispanic and colonial period. I recommend you to visit Templo Mayor, is were the Mexico City begin basically. Than you got other area like Condesa there are so quiet and is look like been in the middle of a jungle, surrounded my trees and plants. Other very nice neighbourhood to visit is Coyacan, very bohemian with colonial architecture. The food is incredible and you can eat from the local cousin like tacos to other like libanes or Japanese. Definitely is a amazing city to visit

This was my second stay at Nana Vida and I enjoyed my stay as much as last time. Staff are always very helpful and make a big effort to make sure guests are comfortable. Rooms are very clean, spacious and lovely decorated with Oaxacan artists, not to mention the mezcal and Mexican candy bar. I also liked their newly added rooftop. The hotel is situated in the heart of Roma with cafes and restaurants just a step out of the door and easy access to the Centro Histórico. It's a real home away from home in Mexico City!
This property is closer to the business area of Mexico City It felt like a safe neighborhood. Beds were made everyday. Towels were changed daily as well. Reforma bus station is quite close to the hotel. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. I could find Vegan and vegetarian options easily. Couple of bakeries in walking distance from Hotel Sevilla.
Amazing perfect small boutique hotel in the centre of Mexico City! Few steps from the main shopping area. Amazing value for money. The fact that there is a cafe you can get free cafes, snacks, beer, sandwiches 24/7 makes it an excellent addition to the facilities of the hotel. Really great helpful staff!
Very lovely staff! Hotel was beautiful, especially the bathroom quite spacious. We didn't use the breakfast offer as we went out for meals in general (Mexico City has the best food anyway).
Airport located close to International Terminal of CDMX Airport.
Good bed in the room, fast internet. Good hotel for a short stay in Mexico City between flights
